Topaz Clarity is a great new product, from the group at Topaz Labs!!! I have added this to my work-flow for contrast adjustments to most of the photographs I have recently processed, some of these being HDR images. You can see some of my results below. 🙂

Topaz Labs make great Photoshop plug-ins that can help you achieve the look you’re looking for in your photo processing. The included presets are broken down in to things like landscape, macro and portraits. These seem to be right on the money for incredible results making your images more defined and adding punch to the final image. You can use it by itself to get some good results too!

Once you install the plug-in you open your image in photoshop and click on the filter tab you should see Topaz towards the bottom, once you hover over that you will see all of the installed products click on one and your image will open in the Topaz user interface. Sleek and very user friendly User Interface I might add! You can use the presets for good results or play with the sliders on your own to create different looks you want to achieve.

I use many products from Topaz Labs Detail, Adjust, B&W Effects and Clarity. Ok so now on to the results, I will let them do most of the talking.

I would definitely recommend this product and I will continue to use this in my work-flow.  The layout inside the plugin is simple and easy to use once you load up your image Clarity creates sample images for the category you’re in (landscape, macro, portrait, etc…) So with a click of the mouse you can go from one look to another and see the results almost immediately.
