I will be offering a new service called composite photography, this combines studio work with my HDR work. This is a two part process one the subject will be photographed in a studio setting using lighting and a solid color background. Second the background is shot using HDR or High Dynamic Range Photography. Then both are combined together to create one awesome eye catching image. To give you a little idea of what this can look like here’s an example I took recently.

So I recently took a trip to the Smoky Mountains National Park in Tennessee to photograph the fall colors in the mountains, but mother nature obviously wanted to make it harder than it really needed to be. Both days were filled with dense fog, rain and the temperatures hovered around the 50-40 degree range. I was determined to take pictures though and that I did…. Were they the quality images I was hoping to get? Let me know what you guys think!
Also I have prints available over at Fine Art America!
I recently went on a meet up with the Exposure Roanoke group for a Urban Exploration shoot. We toured some old abandoned buildings that once served as repair facilities for the trolleys that use to be in the city. Here is one of the best shots I captured during the shoot. I am off for the weekend to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park to try and capture some fall colors and nature at its best 🙂
Just a quick update on this photo It was awarded a Staff Favorite Pick over at ViewBug.com check it out!
Yesterday the sunset was just too good to pass up, so I grabbed my camera and setup my tripod in the middle of the Roanoke River. The colors in the sky were just amazing. 🙂 In the next few weeks I hope to bring some more color to life as the leaves begin to change colors.
Earlier this week I vetured out to Greenhill Park in Salem,VA which has been a spot where a few of my photographs have been taken. This was the sunset I was awarded with 🙂
While on vacation a couple weeks back I wanted to capture a beautiful sunset at the beach. I took the first couple of days to look for spots and this one caught my eye, the colors just seem to compliment each other so well. This is looking over the Intracoastal Waterway just as you cross the bridge over to Sunset Beach, NC. Enjoy! 🙂
