Looking Back At 2013
Another year has almost come and gone. Looking back through this years photo’s a few stand out from the rest, for one reason or another. I had the chance to visit some new places this year like my trip in the spring to Savannah, GA. That trip was probably the most memorable of the year, I captured lots of great moments and landscapes some of which I have yet to share.
Some Of The Good
Throughout the year I feel I made significant progress in my photography goals I set for the year. One of the biggest goals I had set was to be published in a major publication, which I accomplished in the April/May edition of Mysterious Ways by Guideposts Magazine. I was featured on the Outdoor Photographer Website back in June which was a great honor to have my work shown along side some of the best landscape photographers in the world. I created my first ever Landscapes & Nature Calendar for 2014 which is now available to order for $25.00. This past week I have the featured photograph on the ViewBug Facebook and Google+ Pages. So with all that I must say it’s been a great year and I hope to continue in this direction in 2014.
Some Of The Bad
I dropped my Canon 6D while visiting the Outer Banks of North Carolina, but Canon CPS came through and had it fixed in a few days. But the worst thing that happened in my life this year was losing a part of our family.. Lance our Siberian Husky passed away after 13 years of being a family’s best friend.
Looking Forward To 2014
I hope to visit and explore new and exciting places this coming year and I will share these places with the world. My first ebook will be released in early spring of 2014 and possibly a second one shortly after that. I’m looking forward to creating tutorials and videos to go along with my photographs in 2014 to bring an even better behind the scenes and helping others who want to learn.
We’ve recently added a new member to our family Angel who is our 12 week old Siberian Husky and a handful to say the least. 🙂
Here’s to a Happy Holidays to everyone!
