Nathan Firebaugh

I’m just your normal guy who likes to take photographs in and around Roanoke, Virginia 🙂 I purchased my first DSLR in March of 2011 and I was hooked! I’ve learned a lot since then shooting lots of different things from airplanes in flight, little ones at Christmas to beautiful landscapes all over the east coast.

I’m a self taught photographer but have been helped by many along the way including some editing lessons from Trey Ratcliff from Stuck In Customs through his great tutorials and workshops.

I like to focus mostly on my landscape and nature photography, but venture into other areas of photography as well. I specialize in High Dynamic Range Photography or HDR which allows me to capture amazing details and also create one of a kind portraits using composites. My photographs have been featured in many local publications, Guideposts Magazine and Outdoor Photographer. I’m also a contributor of stock photography over at iStock and Dreamstime.
